Fee Schedule
American Financial is a leader in commercial collections, worldwide. These rates apply to commercial collections.
Free Demand Service AFM offers a free demand letter service to clients. Clients decide the number of letters which they want AFM to send on their behalf. Monies collected - and reported to AFM -- during the free demand period are fee free. AFM will automatically contact the debtor on the day after the Free Demand Service expires. At that time, the standard collection fees become applicable. Should client report monies received within 5 days of AFM initiating collection procedures, a reduced fee,10% fee, will be applicable.
Collection Fees* Determined on a per account basis. 25% of the first $3,000 collected 20% on the excess above $3,000 33 1/3% on International accounts or accounts over 1 year. 10% on Return of Merchandise (Invoice Amount) Minimum Fees - On claims less than $300, AFM charges 50% on the first $150 recovered.
Withdrawal of Claims Pending Collection These claims are subject to standard collection fees.
Claims Forwarded to Counsel These claims will be subject to a 33 1/3% fee, which includes the cost of counsel.
