Collection Services
American Financial offers its clients a broad range of collection services to facilitate the proper integration with each of our client ’s internal collection procedures.
Outsourcing Outsourcing is most suitable for those clients who prefer to have AFM hire, train and supervise collection personnel. Currently, AFM has numerous outsourcing projects in place where we collect –as the client –outline in your collection system. Generally, the initial step is a customer service contact. From there, we develop the program with you. Want more information, Contact Us.
Free Demand Service AFM offers clients an expanded Free Demand Service. AFM was the first collection agency to bring this service to the marketplace –more than 20 years ago. These letters are effective in giving your customers the opportunity to pay –prior to your firm incurring any fees. Clients decide the number of letters which they want AFM to send on their behalf; one letter covers 10 days, 2 letters cover 20 days, 3 letters cover 30 days. Monies collected —and reported to AFM –during the free demand period are fee free. AFM will automatically contact the debtor on the day after the Free Demand Service expires. AFM Audit Services At times, clients find that a situation arises requiring that a portfolio be quickly liquidated, tactfully. At other times, the propriety of the receivable balances are at issue. In either case AFM can help. Since the President of American Financial is a certified public accountant, AFM is well suited to assist you. Want more information, Contact Us.
Attorney Intervention Program Many clients have exhausted their internal collection efforts –and want their money now. The Attorney Intervention Program gets maximum – immediate – impact. Under this program, AFM has a law firm contact the debtor, within 24 hours of opening the file. They demand payment. These attorneys will continually communicate with the debtor –for up to 60 days. If collection is not achieved, or acceptable arrangements made, our clients receive a recommendation on the next step in the collection process. Want more information, Contact Us.
On-Site Debtor Visits If we believe that a visit to the debtor ’s location will assist in the collection process, we will make that recommendation. On the other hand, if our client wants an on-site visit, we can arrange for such a visit –almost anywhere in the world. Want more information, Contact Us.
Litigation Services Unfortunately, at times, litigation is the only means to recover your money. AFM has been assisting the business community since 1966 and has developed a network of attorneys who get the job. Our litigation coordinator is available for consultation at any time.
